Nestled by the river, our traditional house is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or family vacation. 13 km from the city center of Rovaniemi is this little cocoon where it is nice to return after a day of adventure in the Arctic !
The spacious living room, well-equipped kitchen and bathtub will provide you with the comfort you need after your outdoor adventures.
It is important to note that there is no separate bedroom ; the double bed is conveniently placed in the living room, next to a cozy fireplace. For families with children, two single beds are also available.
A fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, bed linen and towels, board games, this cottage has been designed so that you will find everything you need during your stay.
Important information, it is strongly recommended to have a car to get to the cottage.

A haven of peace, whatever the season
This little haven of peace, far away from the light pollution of the city, is also a perfect place to look at the northern lights dancing in the starry sky.
It is not unusual to see the “Kuukkeli” birds, or Siberian Jay, around the cottage.
Surprisingly, they come to eat directly in the hand if you put seeds or or crumbs of bread ! You can also observe many other birds, ducks, swans, and maybe a chance to meet some squirrels.
In winter, you can enjoy the view on the frozen river and snow-covered landscapes. In summer, you can access the river and swim there to cool off.
