Drive through the snowmobile trails to discover these unique and emblematic landscapes of Lapland.
In addition to enjoying the superb views, you will feel like you are alone in the middle of the nature. You will probably come across a few reindeer herders on the trails, but we guarantee that along our tours, there will be no other tourists! During this snowmobile expedition, the total immersion in this nature will allow us, if we are lucky, to observe wild animals in their natural habitat.
Details and course of a snowmobile multi-day tour in Lapland
These snowmobile tours are organized from Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland. For comfort reasons, ease of driving and given the great distance to be covered, you will be alone on your snowmobile (no passengers as it is the case for shorter excursions).
We only organize private programs where there will be only you and your guide.
Are these multi-day snowmobile expedition made for you?
First of all, it is good to specify that these 3 snowmobile circuits are only intended for adults. If you are traveling to Lapland with children, I recommend that you look into our shorter snowmobile excursions.
During these multi-day snowmobiling programs, we will travel great distances together. It is therefore essential to be in relatively good physical condition since, although our snowmobiles are modern and comfortable, driving for several hours a day remains physically demanding. In addition, it is important to specify that these snowmobile raids are not recommended in the following cases:
- People with back or joint pain,
- People with impaired vision (if you wear glasses, it is best to have a spare pair or contact lenses),
- Pregnant women,
- People in poor physical condition in general.
When can you book our multi-day snowmobiling in Lapland?
As we organize these snowmobile raids only when the daylight becomes sufficient, these programs are offered from mid-January to mid-April. However, if you have planned your trip for another time, or if you are traveling with children, we organize other excursion formats. We offer more standard formats suitable for families with children which last from 1 to 4 hours, and are available from the end of November to the beginning of April.

One-day snowmobile expedition
General information

Details of the one-day snowmobiling expedition
- Transportation from your accomodation to our office, located 2 km from Rovaniemi city-center.
- Once at our premises, we will present the snowmobile program to you, in details (route, terrain, etc.) and provide an update on the current conditions (weather, snow, etc…)
- You will then receive all the necessary equipment (helmets, overalls, mittens, etc…)
- We will then give you the driving instructions as well as the instructions and safety rules necessary for a long snowmobile tour.
- The adventure will start! You will explore the Lappish nature on your snowmobile and discover the wide open spaces that characterize Finnish Lapland so much (taiga, marshes, frozen lakes and rivers.
- Several breaks are planned along the way to share a hot drinks, enjoy the scenery and take pictures. At noon, we will picnic in the middle of nature.
- We will then continue this snowmobile adventure and return to Rovaniemi in the late afternoon.

Details of the two-day/one-night snowmobiling expedition
DAY 1
- Transportation from your accomodation to our office, located 2 km from Rovaniemi city-center.
- Once at our premises, we will present the snowmobile program to you, in details (route, terrain, etc.) and provide an update on the current conditions (weather, snow, etc…)
- You will then receive all the necessary equipment (helmets, overalls, mittens, etc…)
- We will then give you the driving instructions as well as the instructions and safety rules necessary for a long snowmobile tour.
- The adventure will start! You will explore the Lappish nature on your snowmobile and discover the wide open spaces that characterize Finnish Lapland so much (taiga, marshes, frozen lakes and rivers.
- Several breaks are planned along the way to share a hot drinks, enjoy the scenery and take pictures. At noon, we will picnic in the middle of nature.
- We will keep driving snowmobiles after the lucnh break, and arrive at the cottage in the late afternoon.
- After settling in the cottage, you can either rest or enjoy the traditional wood-fired sauna and maybe try ice swimming in the lake!
- In the evening your guide will prepare a typical meal for you and you can enjoy a friendly moment around the fire. If the conditions allow it, it will also be possible to observe the Northern Lights.
DAY 2
- Typical breakfast at the cabin before the departure by snowmobile,
- Along the way, we will stop in the middle of nature to practice an activity of your choice (ice fishing, snowshoeing or back-country skiing) then, we will have a picnic in the middle of nature
- You will spend the rest of the day driving your snowmobile through the magnificient Lappish nature.
- Return to Rovaniemi in the late afternoon.

Lapland is a really vast region: it is possible to participate in a longer snowmobile expedition. Moreover, if you are interested in an even more special adventure, it is also possible to spend the night in a tent in the middle of nature.
